SWATCH: Layla Ultra Violet

I am so sorry again!

School is almost done for the semester, so everything is a little hectic.

Lets recap from last week.
-On Wednesday, the 21st, it was my 19th birthday. (yaaay!!)
      -Thursday was Thanksgiving,
-And the weekend was crazy shopping time! (and work time, especially for those of us in retail.)

Busy right?

Today I'd like to share with you one of my newer favorite colors. It is Lalya's Ultra Violet. It is a true holographic and I am in love with it. I couldn't stop staring at my nails, especially in the sunlight. They are a lovely light lavender purple inside. Outside though, it is magical! There are an abundance of rainbows on my nails. I absolutely love it!

F.Y.I: My camera does not capture the true beauty of the rainbows on this polish.

SWATCH: Orly Oui

Evening everyone!

Sorry for such a late post, but I've been stressing this week on school things. I'm trying to come up with a regular posting schedule. If not everyday, I'm thinking maybe Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday. If you you guys like this schedule, then it will definitely be permanent after Thanksgiving!

Anyway, on to my nails!

This has got to be one of my favorite colors from my whole stash! It is Orly Oui. I believe it was a part of Orly's Holiday line of 2010. However, I have seen it at the Ulta Beauty stores recently! This is a plum purple with gold and iridescent shimmers! Click read more to see!

Day 11: Polkadots

Poke a polka dot!

Well today is National Coming Out Day. My GSA club held a special presentation during our college hour. Isaac Siqueiros of California's 1st LIVE Bilingual Gay Online & Mobile Radio Show came to my school to speak about a healthy coming out. I honestly found it surprising that people today still get bullied about their sexual orientation.

Let's put an end to that, okay?

Anyway, in honor of my club, again, I did my polka dots in a purple theme. I also love purple, in case you didn't know. I used Essie's Nothing Else Metals as a base. The for the lovely little dots, I used Island Girl's Pinapple Plantation, Sally Hansen Diamond Strength's All Aglow, Nicole by OPI's Purple Yourself Together, Milani's Lavender Fizz, and Wet N Wild Fast Dry's Buffy the Violet Slayer.

I feel quite proud at how this came out. It looks beautiful! The colors compliment each other very nicely.

Well, Happy National Coming Out Day! Be safe everyone and have fun today. Tomorrow is stripes. Leave a comment and tell me what you think!

See you tomorrow!

Day 10: Gradient

So today is a gradient day and in honor of my GSA club meeting, I had a purple gradient. Purple is the the national color for the Gay-Straight Alliance.

Anyway I used Essence's Grey-t To Be Here, Sally Hansen Diamond Strength's All Aglow, and Sinful Colors' Purple Diamond. I was a little skeptical to use the All Aglow and Purple Diamond together, since one was so dark and one was so light. However, the end result was beautiful!

Isn't it beautiful? I love how the purple faded into the grey. It is soo pretty! I love it and will defiantly do this combo again!

What's your favorite gradient color combo? Sorry for such a short post, I have work tonight and I need to study.

See you guys tomorrow! I believe I need to be polkadotted. :)

Day 6: Purple

Today is purple! I love purple!! I am so excited for today! I finally get to use the China Glaze's Electric Lilac. I saw it on a another blog and realized that I had to have this purple. My heart broke a little when I found out that that is was a limited edition one from last year. However, I did find the bottle on eBay so I'm happy.

Ahhh! My dumb camera! This is a color that looks lovely in person. Its such a light lovely lavender color. The picture makes it look gray. Trust me folks, if you can find this color try and get it! It went on a little sheer so I have 3 coats of it on.

So what do you think? Isn't it just beautiful? I love purple and now I can't stop staring at my nails.
See you guys tomorrow!
