Day 4: Green

Green!
Green is such a fresh color. I'm glad to be wearing it today!

Evening everyone! I hope your all doing well. So today I had green. I used Finger Paints Sketch N Etch for my base green.

I just love this type of deep forest green. Its so lovely. There's a small shimmer to it that gives it a little extra shine. I keep feeling like it was a bit plain though. And what solves that problem? GLITTER.

Ahhh... Much better. So I layered Claire's Blast Off over Sketch and was greeted by this lovely spring green. I kinda want to wear it forever, but I can't.

So this is green. Wasn't it lovely? I absolutely loved this combo. Did you?

See you tomorrow for blue! Have a nice night!

Day 3: Yellow

Hey everyone!

So today is yellow! I wasn't too excited for this day since yellow isn't a color I can pull off. When I looked through my stash, I realized that I only had 1 yellow. The original yellow is a Sally Hansen Extreme Wear, Mellow Yellow. It is waaaay too bright, so I mixed with a little bit of white from Island Girl's Pineapple Plantation. The end result was this lovely pale yellow.

You can't really tell how lovely this color is till the next photo. It was dark when I took this photo last night...

The yellow didn't really do it for me... It seemed boring. So I fixed it with glitter. I did a French tip with Tinsel from China Glaze's 2011 holiday line.

And it came out beautiful! I got a ton of compliments today on this color combo. It was just lovely. The little sparkles sparkles really complimented the pale yellow.

In the end, I really loved yellow. It made today look bright.
Well, I'm off to work!
What do you guys think of this color?

Day 2: Orange

Orange you glad I didn't say banana? :)

Anyway, today I'm sporting the lovely China Glaze, Cross Iron 360. This was with the 2011 Halloween line. I realized that today was the first time I've ever tried it on. And I must say, that it is lovely!

Look for yourselves!

Considering That I haven't opened this bottle since I bought it last year, it went on extremely smooth.

I love this orange, but I felt it was lacking something...shiny! So to solve that problem I layered Claire's Little Dipper over my China Glaze.

Isn't just lovely? I will definitely be wearing this combination more often.

So that was orange! I found this color surprisingly beautiful. I recommend that all of you guys buy these colors.

What do you guys think?

See you guys tomorrow for yellow! :)

Day 1: Red

So today I had red nails, which was very fitting to how hot it is. The were Essie's Fishnet Stockings. I just love this red! Its so creamy and goes on pretty smooth. In addition to red nails, I put silver stars on them using the DIY nail decal. The silver I used was Silvivor from Wet n Wild Fast Dry.

I promise that with time I'll get better at cleaning the sides. Unfortunately  painting right in front of a fan was a mistake. I caused all my stuff to bubble up... Oh well.  It's so hot where I live right now! Its either die from heat or have pretty nails... I chose to live.

I realized that I should have posted a picture of my nails before I put art over it... Oh well, lesson learned! Overall, I'm quite proud at how this turned out. It was my first time using the D.I.Y. decals. I love the stars and swirls.

What do you guys think?

See you guys tomorrow for day orange!
